Q: What is the Punk Rock Pinball Association?
A:
The Punk Rock Pinball Association is a national community built for
players who love competitive pinball but want something a little more
approachable. Our purpose is to grow the competitive side of the hobby
by giving beginners and mid-level players more opportunities to earn
points, play more often, and feel like they belong on a leaderboard.
We
are not here to replace the IFPA. We love the IFPA and all of the
structure it brings to the competitive world. PRPA exists as a companion
space. It is a place where the average player can grind out points,
track personal progress, and compete in events that are organized, fair,
and a lot of fun without the pressure of high-stakes tournament
environments.
PRPA events are designed to be simple to run, welcoming for new competitors, and rewarding for players who want to participate more frequently throughout the year.
